Should I shoot with a Regular 8 Sankyo 8-CM camera?

I was given this camera. It is one of the Standard 8mms that is slit after being processed.

Sankyo 8-CM is the model. It has manual f stop adjusting, reflex viewfinder and the two D mount lenses are very high quality.

However, is it worth spending the money to order film and process it?

The camera runs and sounds consistent in speed.

The lenses are really good and sharp. View-finding is reflex.

What do you think? Is it worth trying out or is the format prone to too many cons?

If it seems to run fine that is as good as it gets without using actual film. Test its running with some old film if you have that. See if it is powerful enough and doesn't stall or lock.
