Does anyone know a good source for H8 Rex lens sized filters (apart from Ebay of course)?

Sanity-Maximizing suggestion: Have SK Grimes (google them) make you a filter adapter with male bolex thread and a common filter size female thread and buy new filters from bhphoto. I spent a great deal of time cobbling together a collection of series 6 filters to use with older-style filter adapters. Waste of time and money. SK Grimes can likely pop off a custom filter adapter for $100ish. I've had them make several things for me. They do great work and they won't rape you on pricing. Have a look at their website and tell me if you don't think they are the coolest guys ever.

Just curious about what kind of filter you guys would want to use for the regular 8 films we can currently get? A polarizing filter?

Contact Dieter Schaefer at http://www.bolexusa.com/
He sells the proper adapter from your lenses to 49mm.
Then you can use any standard 49mm filter.
