Nizo 801 Macro light meter issue

Post by kendoman »

Hello and thanks in advance for all your help.

I just got a Nizo 801 Macro. Overall the camera looks and sounds good except for the fact that at this point the manual function of the light meter does not seem to be working. Also when it is set to auto the needle sticks and does not react to light changes really fast. Once thhe needle starts moving, everything is fine.

Any advice...Also anyone knows of a good technician in the US for Nizo cameras. The guy that I use to fix my cameras is not to fond of Nizos.

Thanks again.

Check your lightmeter batteries. I'd say fire off a roll of tri-x.
If in doubt, load your cam with weincells.

Thanks vidwerk,

I did change the batteries and right now I am shooting a test roll of plusX. Still sticking though.
