to all filmmakers,
we are looking for films, audio-visual projects and clips,
also made on S8 or 16mm, as well as (either or not finished) on dv, dvd,
vhs etc.. for programming in our 75 seated cinema in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
This is the former FilmAcademie, that we squatted 5 years ago, and is now a completely legalised social cultural public building, with 2 big studios for events, a vegon restaurant, a cinema (the original!) with a cinema bar. Well known filmmakers such as Paul Verhoeven used to be taught here. We also have an art gallery, a dark room, a sound studio and more..
In the past we allways had a full on programme, as we do now, with (electronic) music, dance performances and a lot of Media events, film, audio-visual, theatre and other programmes.
We have been completely renovated to live up to the fire regulations, for some time we had a smaller programme, so now we are reboothing the programme in the cinema.
