Elmo trv 16g Issue

Post by drcushing »

I work at a university and recently won an A/V lot at one of their auctions. One of the items that was included was an Elmo TRV 16G. I purchased new cables for the output and ran a film through. The output of the unit has some horizontal lines. I tried different cables and films, but it appears to be in the unit. I had never seen one of these before, but it is good to see what may be on an unmarked reel. Any guidance on correcting the issue is appreciated.

probably the internal camera which records the film to a video signal. its probably only 240 lines and not worth using except for an "art" project. id replace the camera.
