Nizo Pro caught for speeding

Post by Bjarne Eldhuset »

I used my Nizo Pro for the first time since 2006, and after 2 minutes of filming, this happened:

Now and then there are uncontrolled bursts of way more than the 18 fps I had set the camera to.

Does anyone service Nizo's anymore?

Or do you think there is something I can do myself?

I have seen this a lot on the compact nizo series, but not so much on the Pro and 481 ranges.
Not sure there is much that can be done affordably with that fault. Anyone else has experience with this?

The speed control electric contacts might simply be dirty. Try rotating it back and forth between speeds a dozen times and see if that improves speed stability.
