i'm about to purchase one of those beaulieu 4008zm2 cameras, but my problem is the power supply. Batteries are pretty expensive, and i heard that you can only shoot 5 rolls at 24fps with them.
So my question is: how long does is take to recharge one of those batteries, and is there any external power supply for the 4008 that could be linked to a power plug, so i could shoot more than 5 rolls in a day!

I think most people go with home made battery packs due to the cost of original batteries and the fact that battery tecnologie have evolved since the seventies. Check out http://home.pacbell.net/mnyberg/super8mm/super8_10.html
for some info on how to make your own pack, it´s rather simple and it works fine for me.
