Capturemate crashes on OS X 10.6 (Snow Leapord)

Well I upgraded to OS X 10.6 yesterday and am now unable to run Capturemate. It crashes immediately on launch even after it's been reinstalled. Is anyone else having this issue?

I've put an email into Ben (the software author) but have not heard back. Hope to know something soon.

Ben says to contact him directly at ben@bensoftware.com

He needs the crash log files (located at ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/) so he can pinpoint where it is crashing.

one option you may consider in teh future is to make a "clean" installation of the new OSx leaving the old intact and making it possible to select (startup preferences) for example using the old 10.5.x bootable for capturing rather than the new 10.6.x.

at least this was posible with earlier versions.

this way you could have kept the 10.5x system going for the capturemate until a fix was worked out for the 10.6.x

just upgraded to a mac pro with blackmagic hd extreme and 10.6

just tested capturemate and it seems to work fine

I did a repair permissions on all my drives and reinstalled Capturemate. It seems to be working perfectly now. I'd recommend that you do a repair permissions after any OS update or install. I guess I forgot to do this.
