Auto Shutter?

Post by videoguy326 »

Slightly off topic. What does auto shutter mean. I have a SONY TRV-320 and it has a manual control for auto shutter to be on or off. I was just wondering what it does. Thanks, videoguy

it means it will automatically select a shutter speed given a particular light level. If you turn it off you can select the shutter speed yourself (1/4 - 1/4000s)

I don't know of a way to manually set the shutter speed on my Sony TRV-320 camcorder.
