No, the Tony Scott that runs Film & Photo isn't the same as the one that directed Top Gun etc! I think he was into production at one point, but that was quite a while ago.
The machine is obviously designed to take 35mm film, but it doesn't rely on perforations in any way so as long as you can attach a leader to it you can pull it through. I'm considering either trying to get the film path to double up in each bath or see if it will let me run two or three strips at a time without them tangling up!
It would be a touch tricky to make money out of one of these with such a long process time for a 50 foot run! Not that I bought it as a commercial project, but it might be usefull to club together with others to do batches otherwise it might not be economical on the chemistry side...
