Hi jpolzfuss:

Retro X is now produce in Tokyo, but processing still by Andec

Therefore you could order retroX from us, then process and pick up from Andec, you don't need to pay anything to andec, they will charge us directly.

When you order Retro X from us, please mention that you are located in berlin, we will inform Andec that you are german customer.

That's what Foma says about their FOMAPAN R (100ASA, available as 2x Super 8 mm film (DS 8) among others):
Foma wrote: FOMAPAN R is usually produced on a cellulose triacetate safety film base 0.125 mm thick or on a polyester film base of the same thickness when higher demands concerning mechanical resistance and dimensional stability are made on the film.

Those were ACTUAL measurements of real Foma DS8, before and after development. Not what might be printed in a spec.
