Sound Barney for Nizo 6080

I'm trying to get professional sound barney's made for the Nizo 6080, which I consider one of the quietist Super 8mm cameras out there. But as quiet as it is, it could stand to use a serious sound barney when doing close-ups.

I met with Lee from Custom Upholstery Products who has been making professional sound barney's in Hollywood for the last 32 years. He looked over my Nizo 6080 and we talked about how the barney must be designed. It was determine that the entire body of the camera would be covered, with two flaps and a window. One flap would be at the bottom so the camera could be attached to a tripod. The other would be on the side so someone could access the three knobs on the side of the camera for the iris, effects, and speed. Also a small window would be made to see the footage counter.

The cost of the camera barney would be $100 + $10 shipping if necessary. This would have to be paid up front. I need at least 4 other people interested for us to get this price. Here's his website:

I'd might be interested but the price seems a little steep. I would maybe be willing a little bit down the road but I have to wait on it at the moment. I have the 6080 as well and have to agree that when shooting close ups and interiors the 6080 can still produce quite a chatter, especially with those pesky jitter K40 carts!
