New Filmmaking Website!!!

Post by RichardB »

 http://www.analogmovies.com

After we discussed it a bit in that other thread, I've gone ahead and purchased a domain + hosting, and set up a community website.

Anyone here is welcome (and encouraged) to sign up to the website, at the bottom on the right hand side is a 'Meta' box where you can register. Post in here when that's done, and I can upgrade your status from 'subscriber' to 'author'! :D

I've put a few tips I found in really old magazines to start us off, and have written a few news reports and articles. I don't think the site really needs to do that much news stuff, as onsuper8.org does a fantastic job of that, hence why I've displayed a feed from Giles' site on every page sidebar.

So what do you think guys?

Very nice. Good piece on filming in winter time. Since I'm in Southern California and had never shot in cold temps, I actually had some problems this past winter filming in the freezing Washington state weather. Helpful tips in the article there.

Keep up the good work.

Thanks guys. Haven't been able to add anything recently due to health issues but I should be bouncing back later this month and be able to add a load of new stuff.

Thanks Giles, hopefully this collaborative site I'm making will help send a load of traffic to onsuper8 as well. I think there's a lot of potential for us to work together and do some cool joint projects if you're up for that.

edit: just saw your blog post, double thanks!
