My short Film.

Post by Tyler »

I made a short film about 18 months ago and just uploaded it to vimeo. I figured I share it with the members here seeing how this message board has helped me out quite a few times.

Great!
Pull that old movie camera out of the closet! I'm sure it's hungry for some film!

I often watch offerings on this Forum and usually find them to be arty-crafty "rubbish". However, this film is extremely cleverly crafted in all respects and the maker is to be congratulated on a production that is gripping in the extreme.
Should I add that I am 72 years of age and have seen thousands of offerings in that time; few as good as this?

Right on. That was very well done.

Most impressed with the stills you used, and the sped up scenes when he freaks out. Very cool intervalometer and shaky cam work.

thought it was excellent - am a great fan of Poe's work, a master of horror and the written word, which despite the mental phantasmagoria is always elegent and, yes, intoxicating - you have captured something here ;)

I'm not really sure what I'm going to do next. I've been trying to write something worth doing. But, have been having trouble coming up with something that I can do that is under 10 minutes. I think I might try and do an adaptation of something by H.P. Lovecraft.

How about a condensed version of "Lord of the Rings"?
Now there's a challenge....
