Pass the cart- where are the carts?

Post by Justin Lovell »

Just wondering where the cart I shot ended up? I think Mahojey had mine as well.

Would love to see the footage and can help get it telecined and processed if that is the problem.

His real name and address are known. Why doesn't somebody from the forum or cart project just call him or visit him. If he is not strikken with some bad illness there is no reason why all this needs months and months.

Same goes for the other community projects like super-8 day (or what was it called). everything has vaporized there too.
Kind regards,

André

Go to the "Projects" forum and read ALL about it.

We've been dealing with it since it ended.

I wrote to him at his home address and recieved no response. My letter was phrased so as to take account of the possibility that he is not in good health.

I'd consider visiting if I wasn't several hours away, sorry I don't have any contacts in Scotland at this time.

There is a new "Pass the Cart" project underway.

Hilarious. Here we are thinking he was sick or something and he's just been having an ordinary, busy life as an AD for BBC Scotland, got married last Nov., has a labrador named "Nizo", two kids, etc.
And he's a big fucking flake.

Time for an arse-whipping!
Angus, please give Mr. Ronnoco the home address of Mojo so we can get the carts back!

To a non-native english speaker/reader it reads as that he got married, the dog Nizo is now with his brother and so is one of his kidneys, I suppose one of his own was transplanted and not one for the dog from the fridge. Plenty on his mind the last year.

Donating half a liter of blood every 3 months makes one special enough as most seem to have plenty of reasons not to do so. Donating body parts/organs while alife is even another league where far fewer play.

Still, some communication seems possible and is best done in friendly mode.

My two pence as an non-participant in the cart project.
Kind regards,

André

I agree with AJ. Keep the communications in a friendly mode. No one knows exactly what he has been through and he donated the film in the first place.

And I speak as someone who shot 10 feet in PTC and am dying to see it.

Just don't see any point in being anything but polite about it.

I was afraid for projects like this being too good to be true...how on earth multiple carts end up with one user is extraordinary. How about the next project be all digital and just submit your BEST 10 feet of digital imaging via super 8...you get what I mean...

That's a real shame about the project...
