T-scan are you interested in getting a free scan of the reel?
It would at the same time be an interesting comparison between the Flashscan8 and their equipment (IÃ‚Â´m sure they will beat me, but it would be interesting anyway).

I had a roll of the Velvia 50D processed and transferred by Spectra last week -- a day after T-Scan's was sent back to him. (they mentioned his transfer when I went in). I don't have it downloaded onto my Mac yet but the flesh tones of my subjects (two Asian-American women, one Caucasian) looked fine once Doug, the colorist, did a slight de-saturation. I shot it with a Canon 814 AZ at 32 ASA in bright sunlight at F11-F16. I know this doesn't mean jack since I can't post anything but you can take my word for it it looked great! The blues and greens of the grass and sky looked almost psychedelic.

out of curiosity, why did you rate it at 32ASA? Does that camera not read it as 50? Just curious.

Compensating for the external light meter. It doesn't read for the Canon's shutter speed... but it worked perfectly...didn't try the camera's automatic light meter. Weather was cooperating as well...

Spectra does an excellent job of processing too. I'd recommend sending any E6 there for quality results. Now with pro8, I've had to bite the bullet and send their prepaid films to Forde to get propper results. here's a 64T shot processed and transferred at Spectra.
