Re: Any "old" film books you recommend?

Thanks to you both! I actually already have the book Davideo mentions. Great book. Will: Love those old filmmaking books. I don't have that one you're referring to, but I have several others. Many nice tips n tricks in there. Too bad Kodachrome film is gone ..... (maybe we'll see it back???) /Andreas

Please update your user profile

Hi, With the new version of the forum software installed there are a few new fields under your user profile that can/should be updated. It would be very nice if you could update your profile and add fields like: - Real Name - Location (City/Country) and facebook, twitter, youtube, skype etc if you l...

Re: P1 vs P3

Hi Pamela! Those are beautiful cameras. Bolex had its unique style and look. Great cameras that last a long time. I have a R16 which I enjoy. I can't really comment on the P1 vs the P3 cameras (I'm sure someone else can?!), but one source for Regular 8mm films is through John Schwind at Internationa...

Any "old" film books you recommend?

Anyone into old films, filmrestoration and that kind of work? I'd like to recommend a book called Nitrate Won't Wait . Interesting historical facts about Nitrate film. I also have bought several other books over the years related to filmrestoration and scanning/postproduction. I was wondering if any...

While everything seems to be working again now, I still have some configuration and designstuff left to do. If you notice any errors, please write them in this thread...
