Re: Super 8 promo film for antique interiors.
I bought a camera that can be used to shoot a single frame so I will have to give it a try. Great work! How did the shop owner like it?

Great work! At the beginning, with the blue draws, how was that done?

Blue covered it. I have done it a few times with a "Sharpie" marker,

What do you use more?
I am just trying to get an idea of how many people out there are using 8mm. I have a few super 8 cameras, and only one 8mm camera, but I am going to buy two more 8mm. I just love the format and the fact that it is rolls. It feels a little bit more like real film making to me. I have nothing against ...

Did you get insurance on shipping? Maybe that's what killed it.

Cinechrome 100D
Hello-
Does anyone know who rolls up the Cinechrome 100D? Is it John Schwind or is he just another person to sell it. Thanks

Re: Good inexpensive telecine service.
Thanks. I know that he is around here. I think $20 is a bit more than what I would like to pay to have 50 feet done. I will however, keep him in mind for 16mm. I think the 100 feet of 16mm for $20 is extremely reasonable.

Re: Good inexpensive telecine service.
I was able to find who I was looking for...Moonstruck Productions. Please let me know if there are any other out there. I have tried Dwayne's Photo and I think the results were horrible. They do amazing work with slides, but that's about it.

Good inexpensive telecine service.
Does anyone know of a place in the USA that offers a good quality (not professional, but something you would be proud to show) for $10 or under for 50 ft of super 8? Places like Pro8mm and other labs want well over a hundred dollars and I don't have all of that to put to just 50ft. I would like a pl...

Re: Kodachrome II 8mm vs Ekatchrome 64T Super 8 - Generations
Thanks. Of course the E64T looks much more modern. I think that super 8 and 8mm do have totally diffrent looks and it is nice to have the choice.

Re: What to do with old cameras?
I would put them on display on a shelf or donate them to a local historical society that may want them.
