...... just go there and buy: http://www.colorreversalfilm.com They ship very quickly and the quality of their work is second to none. Thanks, guess I'll bite the bullet here - need 16mm http://www.wittner-cinetec.com/katalog/04_filmm/16_filmm.php ASA 200 that's a stop over what I'm getting used to...

Re: No news from Ferrania is not good.
Was expecting some movement by this time last year. Just went onto the Ferrania page, the last update was February, we are now in May :-o . Now I know what a mountain these good people are scaling, but can't they drop us a few hints or just snaps - even digital ones - once a month? I've been ready t...

Silverprint
Silverprint, late of Waterloo, now late of Elephant & Castle - end of an era - Silverprint was my regular stop when I worked solely in black & white stills - then they were one of the few places in London you could get cine film, now they are moving down to Poole. Nice for them, what worries...

Re: processing labs in UK
Thanks CinemanUK, We few, we happy few, between Kodak & Cameron they are trying to flush us down the UK jakes. I attended a two day course on Super 8 at no.w.here when they were based in Kilburn. It was excellent. That was just after I discovered that film was still being made and that cine came...

Dust in the gate?
Hi,
If I had dust in the gate of my Bolex H16, would I see it by looking through the default prism viewfinder - using a lens with a wide open diaphragm please? Normally I use a dog-leg zoom, so would see nothing except what the lens sees.
Thanks

Re: processing labs in UK
Sorry to open an old thread. The No.w.here film lab is being bullied out of existence by current austerity measures

Re: Lomo tank processing
I developed a cartridge of Tri X with the Foma kit. It came out fine. I followed the Foma instructions regarding the timing of each process. Are you sure that Foma have stopped production of film or is it just a hiatus? Thanks, it was indeed a hiatus - within 12 hours I had an order on the way from...

Re: Lomo tank processing
Any heads-up on this? Fomapan b/w cine film is now suddenly off the shelves - I had no idea there was a problem - this came swifter than the demise of reversal colour film. So I am looking with desperation at some Tri-X but my only choice for home processing is the Foma kit - unless that has gone we...

Re: Tetenal E6
Thanks, fingers crossed - mind you, I still have a 1 litre box ready for my last ektachrome, waiting to be multiple exposed ;)aj wrote:The five liter sets aren't too bad. Likely the 2.5 will give a much better ratio per 600ml needed for a LOMO.

Tetenal E6
This is bad news for people like me who develop using 1 litre of E6. The price for a litre is now quite steep - haven't even dared to look at what the price hike will be for over double the amount, which I can't use anyway :( https://www.silverprint.co.uk/tetenal-colortec-c41-and-e6-processing-kit-c...

They may well find themselves crying in their beer if Film Ferrania take off. No filming for me today however - you can depend on summer bank holiday weather for thatdoug wrote:

Re: 100 d kodak on ebay ?
Fortunately, these delays have cost them nothing -- renovation of the factory is paid for by the regional authorities That's true but they still have saleries to cover and inputs. Probably because of this they won't be back in the factory until September when everything should be ready for the prod...

Re: 100 d kodak on ebay ?
Ferrania - the question is 'when', then to worry about how much? Ferrania motion film was supposed to be hitting the shelves for retai this spring, we are now entering autumn. Any ideas please?
Thanks.
