Re: A large bonfire at night.

What are you talking about? It's a technical question regarding color temperature. But thanks for your concern.

Re: A large bonfire at night.

Yeah, 64T most likely. I was debating shooting with K40, but there's no where in Canada that develops it, and I'm iffy about sending my precious film across the border.

A large bonfire at night.

I'm shooting a scene with a large bonfire. Should I shoot this with my 85B, or without?

Re: clicking links

Agreed. Same thing happens to me. I use Firefox at home and IE at work... it happens for both browsers. It's annoying. Everything else seems pretty cool, though.

Re: "Pass The Cart" project, Official Thread

Great! Did I remember to put in the information sheet that lasycoyote sent with the cart? I'm pretty sure I did...

Great! I'm nervous about that cart being in the mail; that the film might be X-Ray'd. This usually does not happen, right? Regardless; Superbus_, the cart should be there soon.

Oh...

I dunno if I like that idea. I shot my piece around a specific piece of music that a friend of mine composed. The music being quite an integral part of the film.

Re: "Pass The Cart" project, Official Thread

I brought this up before, and I understand it may be still a bit early (for some carts, anyway); but, how will the music for each respective short be handled? Obviously it will have to be copywrite cleared and stuff, but should we set up a place where we can upload our sound to? What does everyone e...

814XL-S Tele-Macro Question

The telephoto macro function on the 814XL-S: measurements are not mark on the focus ring for tele-marco. I just shot a whole bunch of stuff using tele-macro, not taking my focus reading from the film plane indicator, but by eye. Since focusing is so very touchy and critical during telephoto macro sh...

Finally. I can get _Superbus' address. I've been done for awhile but couldn't get his address in my PMs until site launch. Away we go.

So. Yesterday: I was literally on my way out the door to mail the cartridge to Superbus when I was greeted by the friendly Canada Post man with my camera. Haha. So I figured it would cut a bit of time by me doing my shooting over the Easter holiday, then send it off. Instead of sending all the way t...

This is probably a bit premature, but should we set up some sort of thing where we can upload the audio tracks for everyones' pieces? It would be cool to have them all in one place ... nice & neatly labeled & easy for telecine purposes. Whudyallthink?
