Re: Workprinter Hd Transfer experimentation

Geesh, and here I was hoping for a 1fps workprinter as I was plotting on mating it to a direct computer link, which can only handle 2fps tops at quality as/is...

Re: Nagra SLO Sychro NEW OLD STOCK for sale.

Hm, while I *do* have a 3rd party unit crystal control unit, having an actual original unit would be interesting. Unfortunately I lost my job last month, so not much for income. How much were you seeking?

Re: Nagra SLO Sychro NEW OLD STOCK for sale.

Can I ask, what's a SLO? I have a NAGRA and SLP, but no idea what an SLO is.

Re: Homemade film

Absolutely facinating, I'm keeping an eye on this for future study. Goes to show, Kodak could explode, film will survive.

How did you get that much film, processing and telecine for 100 pounds sterling? </tease> In all honesty, looks like a first movie done on a camcorder. Not saying it's bad, just saying that it looks like what it is. I would be curious to see the whole thing tho, as the plotline was interesting enoug...

You both are right, actually. A Digital SLR has a mechanical shutter, but it is electronically controlled, not a full mechanical system. Rather like some lower end film SLR's such as the Minolta XG9. Digital SLR's use a physical shutter rather than an electronic for the most part. But, I believe to ...

Re: In My Image - and the making of - on YouTube

I've decided to chuck In My Image, and the making of film on YouTube. In My Image is virtually all K40 and 4 of the 10 sections are up at the moment. The making of film is 37 minutes long - and 3 of the 4 sections are up now - the other one will probably go up tonight or tomorrow. The remaining IMI...

Do you carry this in your backpack? Or do you strap it to your belt? :P I was lookin for more portable solutions if poss...

Thanks for the tip - now here is another question - I have just recently gotten back into Super 8 filmmaking after 20 years, so I don't know much about film either. What I've seen of this Vision 2 500T looks really nice. But what about cost? How much do you estimate you spend to purchase and develo...

Yes, don't use that film. I managed to get away with it, but half of my footage was black. With that camera I would shoot it on the widest shutter and with Vision2 500T film, and that's pretty much it.
