No to BigBeaner and no to Jorg. Kodak has not marketed Regular 8 film for over a decade. They continue to produce it ocasionally in response to bulk private orders and what Wittners sells will have been produced on this basis. The process paid deal is an arrangement you've made with Wittners not wi...

This camera comes with an adapter for France Oh, neat! I can mount a country on this camera! :D It's most likely an adapter for the battery-recharger and/or for the external power-supply (since France is using 230V AC at 50Hz, while Canada and the USA are using 120V AC at 60Hz - of course the plugs...

Therefore you could order retroX from us, then process and pick up from Andec, you don't need to pay anything to andec, they will charge us directly. When you order Retro X from us, please mention that you are located in berlin, we will inform Andec that you are german customer. Cool! Thanks for th...

The German "schmalfilm" exists since 1950 (or 1949?). The first English versions ("smallformat") will be out this year.

... similar superposed ... Superimposed pictures ... I meant "supe rp osed" in the meaning of "the 'process before'-date has been passed several years/decades ago". The oldest Single-8 cartridges are taped together, rather than cemented. Those are easy to open and as somewhat ea...

Strange film damage

Hi, I just purchased a super8-film on ebay: a 33m short of the "battle of midway" - distributed by Revue (German and French Titles), Orwo b&w, no sound stripe. (I just needed a starting airplane from WWII to cut it into another film) Since the most damage is normally found on the first...

or with this one?

Some stupid Single8 questions

Hi, my Single8-camera finally arrived. It came with some old R25 and R200 cartridges (with "process before 1981" or "...1986" marks). a) Can those films still be processed by Fuji?!?! (Those films are the old ones - not the actual R25N and R200N.) b) Does it make se...
