I know guys. I appologize. I'm obviously the slowest, due to circumstances beyond my control. I had some bad camera problems all at once. My 1014E completely died, and the Nizo I bought off, ahem, here.. turned out to have some bad flaws and wouldn't move the film correctly. The dude I got my XL-S ...

You can also set the meter manually without batteries and the camera also offers the very cool feature of "banding" your exposure range to as big or small as you wish. The Switar lenses are tops and this same lens on a Bolex H8 REX would cost about $100. I highly recommend the camera - I ...

Bolex K2 question

I'm thinking about buying a bolex K2, it is in an almost unused condition. Is it a good camera? I know it is standard 2x8 and clockwork driven ( I like clockwork driven cameras).

What do think? What could be a reasonable price for this camera?

Why not! :) Maybe it's better to film first and than discuss the details...

I like this idea. I think we need to use the same filmstock at least decide B&W or colour.

We also need to find some common idea between the different parts of the final film but something which is not materialistic. I hope you understand what I mean.
