Double-Eight movie film is always perforated with 0.1500" pitch since no copying on sprocket wheel printers is intended. Only for completeness

Maybe too warm drying with the lab

Only remedy is to rewash the film and let it dry slowly

Too much tension on the film can be the other cause. Perhaps time to have a chat with the lab people.
