It will work. I use a generic fixer for FomaPan.

Re: Pushing reversal question
Pushing reversal film is all in the first development stage. The second development stage only develops the remaining silver in the film. Under development is possible in the second stage but over development is not. I usually develop for 6 minutes with the second developer just to make sure the fil...

You are in the wrong place. You should put this post in the Small gauge film forum.

Re: Krasnagorsk?
I use a 24mm Vivitar M42 lens with a converter for Canon that gets me down to about 10mm on my K3. Reasonably sharp when stopped down. I am still experimenting with it.

Re: Eumig C3M 8mm Cine Movie Camera
Kodachrome II film is no longer made, it can be developed but with difficulty and great expense and then only in black and white. It is not really worth the effort. It is better to buy fresh film that is available today.

Very nice! Well done!
It is good to see other cultures, in strange and wonderful lands, at work, rest and play.
A really cool camera you have there too. It's a pity that the same cannot/will not be done with double-super8.

Re: How to repair weak takeup (GAF/Sniper)?
I know nothing of Gaf/Sniper but from the look of the photo I would certainly start with a good cleaning. I would use iso-propyl alcohol to get rid of any fat or oil traces.
Good luck !

Re: Double Super 8 (DS8) situation
I have three DS8 cameras, a Canon DS8, Pathe BTL DS8 and a Quarz 2x8S-3. The Canon and Pathe are super good but big and heavy. The Russian Quarz 2x8S-3 is the one I use the most when wandering about. They are metal and very solid although I have managed to smash two. I have bought a third, they have...

Re: Film Footage Counter
Oh ! You mean the Erno frame counter for Super-8/Single-8 ? They are fairly common around this neck of the woods, The Netherlands. I think mine cost about 15 - 20 euros. They probably come from Germany, check out eekbay. I think I know where there is a small stash of them, email me if desperate. The...

Re: Foma 100 filming in 90 degrees of heat?
Being a bit afraid of opening my mouth after having put my big foot in it a couple of times on this forum recently, I would tentatively say that: < an ND2 to the lens & slot an ND2 in the filter slot. That gives a combined ND4, a reduction of two stops, so I can meter the asa 100 film at asa 25?...

Re: Foma 100 filming in 90 degrees of heat?
You are so right, André. You caused a bit of a panic in the chicken run here. I had to go back and check all my N.D. filter infomation. Luckily I've never had to use my N.D.8 yet.
Too many cameras, not enough sense,

Re: Foma 100 filming in 90 degrees of heat?
Use a stronger N.D. filter. I have filters up to N.D.8 which is a a difference of four stops.

Re: Filming with Agfa 200D
a.j., you are right of course about the N.D. filter, I use them often enough although I usually use an external meter. I wasn't thinking straight.
