single8 R25N processing (how?)
Hi All, I am contemplating of getting a 'large' amount of Fujichrome R25N I think this is an old fujichrome R25 with some additional rem-jet layer. Would you know if the film is dye incorporatade (not like kodachrome) so a similar E6 process could work? Would anyone have some info on the type of pro...

Re: Focal brand Film
I disagree with the last message that it will not yeld any image. It's very likely that it will. Being reversal, the film can either be kodachrome type or some variation of ektachrome/agfachrome etc. If the dye is incorporated it means that it's not kodachrome (that could also be processed as a bw)....

Re: Report about the super8 film festival in Brazil
i did the subtitles (and lots of them) and i quite enjoyed it but i think our knowledge of US culture is quite limited to have the full appreciation of the movie. But the film generated a technical debate about negative vs. reversal. Not many people was aware that you can use negative (so much that ...

Report about the super8 film festival in Brazil
I had the chance to participate at the 'Curta 8' festival in Brazil last november and I was amazed with the audience and the organization. The whole screening theater was full every screening night (i'd estimate around 300+ people). Also, despite the entry being free, the organization paid for accom...

Re: 16 mm. What camera to buy
I'm now with Herb. I own a kinor and I have to say that since I bought it (more than 2 yr ago) I never look at 16mm lists in ebay. It's an awesome camera. It's a bit noisy but with my handmade pillow blimp it emits around 35db (and a bit less with 30m mag). Rafael and Olexandr can convert it to s16 ...

Re: DIY Film editing cement = nail polish remover?
i remember reading in a photo forum (or maybe in cinematography) some people that recycles old acetate base film into cement, it may be the same as Alex's formula.
