"The problem is the rig is unnecessary, at any price. It's like building a robot to tie your shoes or putting adding another handle on a suitcase that already has a handle." That's not exactly true. While the auction in question is kind of rough looking and probably overpriced, there's not...

I'm in Florida. Just to confirm, the K40 with mailer included is no longer available from Kodak, correct? I understand the mailer is still available separately, but I'm just trying to figure out the cheapest way. At this point it looks like I'll use my student discount on 5 rolls of K40 and get it p...

He claimed to not know how much it would...

Does the pre-paid mailer include postage there and back? Also, I read that Kodak had discontinued the production of the film with ...

Do they still do pre-paid? Doesn't it have to go to Switzerland? Also, is the postage pre-paid, or just the actual processing?

K40 vs B&W processing/buying

I'm new to Super 8, and I'm about to buy some film. My project will be in black and white, so I had originally planned to use Tri-X or Plus-X film. However, it seems like I can't drop this off at Wal-Mart. Any other development would run at least $9 not including shipping, right? In that case, I wou...
