The Iscorama was only mounted unsupported a very brief time, for the sake of that photo. Lastquark´s setup is totally the way to go... (would be nice if you could have a Glidecam V-8 with that aswell, and maybe a Cavision 4x4 bellows in front of the anamorphic maybe ? :D ) About the vignetting is...

On a sidenote, I believe Wittner is still selling "new" Beaulieu 708EL projectors... the price is a tad higher than this one. :)

I posted about this particular projector in this forum the 26th of may 2003 . http://8mm.filmshooting.com/scripts/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2090 It is sold . They got what they wanted for it, the crazy s.o.b's. Some collector bought it. Needless to say, they really don´t update their web very often. ...

Well, the one Super8 film with the smallest grain of them all, (if it wasn´t the K25,) might have been Kodachrome II. I have a roll of the stuff at my place which is just unbelievable. A big difference compared to our present K40. IMHO of course.

There is always the possibility of fixing it up and exchanging the Regular 8 sprockets for Super 8 sprockets...
