Re: Eclair ACL II Motor
Hi Stuart, The electronic control board (single board) is located in the body base. Why do you want a replacement motor? Are you sure that your motor has some issues? Its difficult to find one spare. It was made by French Thomson-CSF. Also replacing the motor requires shutter/claw sync adjustment. D...

Looking for scans of ELMO SA-1 and DR-1 manuals
Dear Members,
I am looking for the ELMO CINEMATIC SOUND DR-1 and SYNCHRO SOUND SA-1 manual scans. SR-1 and A-1 will be also helpful, I think.
Any help is highly appreciated!
Erkan

Re: Bolex H16 RX Light metering
AS we all know' there really is no such thing as a perfect film camera, Each has somekind of design flaw ? that we learn to work around , if not it's the human behind it , When you think what has gone in too just making a super 8 film camera , in someways/ way head of other film formats for it time...

Re: Bolex H16 RX Light metering
I am sure that if the Swiss was able to do redesign it there would have done , But if you think that there cameras are still working today ! now thats design for you , why change a good thing ? Of course, the Swiss could do that!!! No dispute. Aren't the mirror reflex cameras working still today? I...

Re: Bolex H16 RX Light metering
As well as being easy to get at the prism system I think the other reason is that a mirror shutter on a Bolex would have meant extending out the lens assembly to to accommodate a mirror assembly and that would also make for a complicated prism system extruding out further from the camera body. Re: Bolex H16 RX Light metering
Hi guys, I never understand that Bolex didn't switched to the mirror reflex system after some time although this system is well adopted to others. Bolex perhaps wanted to stay as an amateur camera supplier except the unsuccessful PRO design made by eumig. That's why they don't need the T/stops. You ...

Re: regular 8 finished.
Yep Im gonna shoot a roll on the r16 and get Richard to process at nano.Just to test.... Yep fingers crossed its ok. 8O The professional way: Tests should be made for each of the total cans. Re: regular 8 finished.
Theoretically, it should be tested every time prior to shooting etc. But negs are tougher than reversals. Also the speedier stocks have the most latitude...Will2 wrote:I'd have them tested first to make sure it's worth it.
