Amateur seeking advice on Bolex
Happy Holidays.....I I have not shot any film in a while and need some advice. Looking to shoot the final 2 rolls of my Kodachrome ASA 25 daylight film. It has been refrigerated since I purchased it in October 2005 and I am confident the stock will deliver those great colors we all know and love.......

Previously unreleased 8mm JFK footage
I saw a cool clip at http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/17229693?GT1=9033
of some 8mm footage of JFK.
Please do not start with the conspiracy theories.
Amazing how good the "video" (in the words of the CNN correspondent) has held up.
Peace,
Brian

Bauer mini S
I own a Bauer mini S super 8 camera which I originally bought just for display and a conversation piece to sit alongside other rigs that serve the same non-purpose. However three of my cameras have crapped out in the past six months and I considered giving it a whirl. It is fully automatic (no zoom,...

Agfa used to make a black and white slide film called Scala. Now that Agfa film is defunct your best bet is probably eBay. I still have a few rolls in the fridge. I like to use it when I shoot 3D pics, it is the bomb. There are very few labs that process it. Although one is right by my home in Santa...

Hey Tim, On the cover it says Issue1/2006. It has the old school stewardess on the front changing reels on some bigass projector. And it has the coolest freaking picture inside of a Fujica Single-8 AX 100 in a marine housing unit. Looks like something from 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. Late, BRIAN[/...

gaf ST/1002 and Tri-X 7266
I have a gaf ST/1002 camera and according to the manual it automatically sets the correct film speed for exposure control for the following combinations: 25/40 40/64 64/100 100/160 160/250 250/400 400/640 Does anyone know how it will most likely "recognize" Tri-X 7266 which is rated at 200...

Art is obviously subjective and maybe music much more so than other art forms because there is just so much out there. And it has probably been around since the dawn of man. I listen to everything from trip-hop to opera to bluegrass to jazz to country to blues. And I love the Beatles. Abbey Road is ...
