Officially, the camera only has two speeds: 18 and 45 fps slow motion. But someone told me that if you turn the knob slightly past 18 you can get 24 fps out of it. I think the specialty of this camera is it's 12x zoom which maxes out at 90mm. My feeling is that it was designed for people who shoot w...

I believe that it is only for the slides and not the movie film unless someone decides to use that application for that purpose.

Kurt,
Do you have one for the 1014E? And do you have, by chance, any interval timers?
Thanks,
Marc

I guess Hong Kong is a very humid enviornment like Florida. Humidity can be murder on a super 8 camera!

I have the Rollei Movie 6. The body is made by Cninon and the lens is a Rollei.

That sounds good. Could you also make a stripper for double 8mm film and intervalometers for super 8 cameras? Maybe with a range of 1 fps to 1fpm. What do you think?

There are a few people out there who know a little about Bolex. Some old timers as well as people who have had the same fortune as you in getting a new one. If it did come with a handle, just hope that the seller did not take it out of the box. The original camera came with a rewind handle too for t...

You might be able to make your own handle by using a wooden dowel with the proper sized thread screw imbeded in it. The only down side of regular 8 that I can see right now is that K25 is no longer made and very little of this stock is left. The only redeeming event for regular 8 will be if it is cu...

The rexofader allows you to make laps dissolves automatically because it provides the correct timing of the shutter opening and closing. Otherwise you would have to try to manipulate the variable shutter manually and do your best to make sure that you open the shutter in the same period of time that...

That sounds kind of excessive to me! $800 is a ton for that old camera even though it is one of the best ever made.

How much were they asking for the rx 4? I see your camera has rexofader which alone is a costly accessory. I think that the only difference on the rx-4 is that it has a shaft for an animation motor which you have to do manually on the other models.

moviestuff transfer upgrades

Roger, I know that you recently upgraded your transfer unit for mail in transfers. I would like to know if this involves the image stabilization software that you were talking about? Being a victim of the jittery cartridge thing I definitely have some irreplacable footage that needs some stabilizati...
