Re: Moviestuff bankruptcy.

That is a bit too much hate. I find it odd how a well appreciated member of this forum with such a long history of productdevelopment and support of that ends up, apparently like crook but likely filing holes with new holes, there must have been an intend to actually manufacture these machines. Comp...

As if they will not X-ray when there is such a sticker on it.
Every crook et cetera would use a sticker to get his contrabande past the checks and customs :)

Re: Good to be back!

Unfortunately traffic was already slow and having the site down for years doesn't help either.

People have moved to 'modern' internet.
Soc media groups, unfortunately with the herds of fools and abuse coming with that :(

These stickers are really only for display. Nobody working in the processing of post is giving a sheit and it will be scanned anyway when things are set to be scanned. It would be something if that could be prevented just by using a sticker. All contrabande shippers would do the same.

Re: Iscomorphot S8 / 2x

Are all projection lenses like these also suitable for filming?

I have one but there is little to go about unless one can film your own beach scenes.
Make one wonder if it would work for a MINOX 8x11 too :)

Or is it more common to watch El Cid in cinemascope from super-8?

Re: The State of Double Super 8

Posted tests by Pro8mm are on Vision materials... Listed prices aren't that bad considering it is all in :) S8 filming has become terribly expensive :( Curious enough people want to shoot those films in untested flea-market finds with the price of a filter or a lenscover :) Let's see what comes of i...

Re: The return of Ektachrome - CES 2017

Traditionally reversal film has been more expensive than negative film. Negative film is a simpler film. Reversal film is effectively a negative and positive film layered on top of each other. Although Tri-X is a reversal film being black and white means it only has 2 active layers compared to nega...

Re: Gauge Film - times slots?

What a millennial bureaucrat. What could possibly be the problem to process film when they come in when the chemistry is still good? Or are we to believe that all is done in one day after the deadline?
