Just to get the ball rolling: Don't have one myself, but from what I've read, this camera really isn't designed to "read" the 64 film speed. Many cameras weren't. But don't despair, you can use b/w and negative film. I only shoot reversal, but others on the board can help you with using no...

So Warren doesn't count? So we forsake the man who said: "Excuse me, could you help this lady with her coupons, I'm terminal." Oh well, I'll go with Lou Reed. I bought "Magic and Loss" several years ago. I never really go it. Then some people who were close to me died. Dude was r...

I always thought Darth Vader was built on a Third Reich model.. His helmet is WW2 vintage Germany infantry. The whole Galatic empire had a certain National Socialist feel to it.

A few months ago I email John Schwind about K40 in Regular 8 He said: "Regarding regular 8mm Kodachrome: If they buy it, it will be there. The S8 Kodachrome is slightly different than the 16mm(reg. 8mm) version. Kodak has a large quantity of the 16mm version and will continue to produce as long...

I'm with Dave on this. I like the Kodachrome so I'm shooting Reg8 and it is about the same price.

Jorg, I'm afraid you may have read more into my comment than I intended. No one would expect someone to do a full shooting test on a camera, but I own three super8 and three regular 8 camera and all will run without film. Granted, some cameras may not. I'm not an expert on every camera ever made. An...

If I am buying from a dealer, I look at the feedback and email people who have done business with the seller. I ask generally questions about how happy they were with the item and the transaction. I also avoid the "as is" or "I have no idea if it works" crowd. I mean, how hard is...

Nigel, I just wanted to check and make sure that I have this correct. The film you shot is 64t, exposed as ASA40 w/ 85b filter, normal process?

Sorry if I mis-understood something. I fear I may have gotten lost going through 9 pages.

Thanks again

Don't panic just yet. It sounds like he is just behind on answering his email. I don't know where you live, but I live in Florida and it took a good month for my k3 to get here (I bought from someone else). I sure it will be fine.

I checked the auction and it seems the bidder IS bidding on all 4. Interesting, I never saw an auction like that before.

But then again, I'm only allowed to go on ebay 4 minutes a week!

I second Nigel on the lens. I've read the same thing in photography books. Fungus spores are like smoke particles. They will find a way out of the lens and spread. I don't think it's worth the risk.

Sorry man, that really sucks.

Yes, I installed itunes on a P C platform for a friend, and it was a chore and a half. It only "sort of" works, he can't select which songs to update from his ipod folder, it's all or nothing. He's ok with it, so I'm ok with it. But I have no clue what's wrong. Sorry about the trouble mayb...
