Just for fun or grievance...

Congrats to Ignacio, that's what one can call a steal. As a non-US citizen I just followed this auction.

The Bolex stereo system You are referring to, is designed for H16 c-mount camera only. 8mm-formats are out of question unfortunately. :(

600 feet for the north american market and 180 meters for the rest of us?

there is probably also the voltage difference: European version has a 110-240V adjustable power source while american has a fixed one.

"The three-pin plug may be a later addition to make the mic usable on the player with three-pin jack." It looks like the five-pin plug is the one added, since its cable is much thinner and branches off of the main three-pin plug's cable. Okee, here is another attempt to explain it. The ac...

Is there anything any president has ever known, that somebody else inside or outside their administration doesn't know first and probably even better? They really don't have time to do their own research. Yes, but they are gathering the pieces of information and can have a full picture. They make t...

So where are these now?? I've also heard rumours of another film being shot on that day too -- any ideas on the truth or not of that? Scot Do a search for nix film or Muchmore film. These are easily available on the net in some compressed form. But there are at least four or five additional sub gau...

Thanks for the help - unfortunately the label on the mic is worn off, so I can't tell which switch position does what. On Uher M516 S is up and M is down when holding the mic in the normal vertical position. Since it's a mono mic, why would 5 pins be necessary? I've noticed quite a bit of wow/flutt...

The delta marked input is for the charger / net adapter (and remote control, it may possible that You can use the microphone as an off/on switch, but am not sure) Radio/phone is a multipurpose jack. It is both for input and output. My papers say the line out is 1V / 15 ohms at full load for mono and...

Not at all. U-Matic is 3/4" video tape, a standard industrial video format back in the 80's. Pardon me, Sir. I have to stick my nose in here. There is a standard-8 Yashica camera named u-matic. There is probably a turret version and a power zoom version. The power zoom version I've held in my ...
