Re: Motor belt for Elmo 912/S Super-8 editor
theres a seller on flea bay who regularly sells projector belts. cant remember the seller off hand, if you contact the seller and give the dimensions of the belt, or measure it with a string, the seller will sell you one. its one of the regulars who sells the elmo and chinon belts.

Re: Elmo trv 16g Issue
probably the internal camera which records the film to a video signal. its probably only 240 lines and not worth using except for an "art" project. id replace the camera.

film co op to donate used cine equipemt
anyone know of a good cine co op in the states or yet overseas that would be interested in taking a donation of small gauge movie items? such as viewers or 8mm cameras, spools, reels, etc. the local co op here has gone digital and flea bay would be too much of a hassle.

Re: canon ds 8 camera
I have one I bought a few years ago. its a good camera, though the stock is limited to fomapan in the US and whittner from germany. Kahl has some stock though its a bit expensive and i think you have to be a business to order it.

I bought another issue of this scanner, not the wolverine from B&H and it seemed to be less jumpy than the initial release.

Re: Wonderful consumer scanner for Super-8 from the East
The gate on this scanner is rather sensitive. I had to reset the film in the gate under the guides to prevent the film jumpiness. Doesn't seem to matter so far if the film or old or new. I'll post more clips in a few days.

Re: Wonderful consumer scanner for Super-8 from the East
I ran some more tests and the film wasn't doing the jumpiness after resetting in the gate.
