Re: Reminder: Dec 30 Last Day for Kodachrome process

Ah maybe one could get a petition going for kodak to make the chemicals for dwaynes photo to do a one or two time process. If there are enough people saying to do a run of kodachrome processing, kodak and dwaynes might think its worth it. at least the kodachrome process patent should be available. ...

Re: my first shoot with 8mm for a long time

I have the Canon 814 AZ - not the Electronic version though. It's my favorite "gun and run" camera. I would never shoot without using a lightmeter though. Get the most accurate exposures that way...you are lucky - not every camera has manual controls like this one.

That really sucks. Sorry to hear it. Is Martin B. still able to process K40 as b&w? Has anyone tried him lately?

Re: Have you finished off your Kodachrome yet?

Count me as one of those "wait til the last minute" guys. I thought I only had two rolls of K40 Sound stock in the fridge - it turns out I have six! All with either 1983 or 1994 expiry dates. And now the California weather is crap. So much for those k40 blue skies. Maybe I'll try some indo...

Re: Also rans

And according to some sources Charles Bronson was actually considered for the Superman role. That would make more sense. I haven't heard that story til now. I can't imagine studios seriously considering a man in his late fifties (when the first Superman movie came out) and as craggy faced as he bec...

Re: Bolex factory service on Bolex 160 Macrozoom

Also Mitch Perkins can do a mod on the Bolex 155/160 models to allow for an external light meter. To me that was the one annoying part on those models. Other than that a great camera.

Re: Bolex factory service on Bolex 160 Macrozoom

I received the camera back a few days ago and just have to share my highest recommendation of the Bolex factory service! - Derrick That is so great to hear. My first S8 camera was a Bolex 155 and I also bought a couple of 160s on auction. Great camera, amazing lens. That is a lot of dough but I gue...

Re: PTC 1. The next step.

I don't really want to do anything with these films except watch them. Oh, and about the film... It would be great to have the real film projected somewhere sometimes. Just the raw footage, maybe with live impro at the screenining. I don't know where... in London, where all the carts had been recol...

Re: PTC 1. The next step.

Chas have you got the "new" torrent files? The old ones didn't work at all. Rollef, which file is that for? I was getting about 18hrs for the smaller file but it may speed up as more people get involved. Mark What Uppsala just sent me a couple of hours ago...I assume that is the "new...
