I'm will be shooting a short film next month using my super 16mm camera and am trying to keep cost down as much as possible.

Does anyone know a good place to purchase 16mm recans or short ends?

I owned a K-3 once and just couldn't get it to work right. I ran one roll of test footage and it came back messed up. Not due to a light leak or anything. yeah, I would fully agree that you can get the same from a digital camera. Granted I had a D90 (before it got stolen, along with my 35mm film camera) It however wasn't able to do 144 frames in a row. Finally got around to scanning some footage and arranging it. The roll of film I used was done using Red Scale, and I didn't try to do much adjustment with the scanning. Basically, just scanned the film as is and then dropped it into Premiere. I should have some more soon. http://vimeo.com/33461243

I just got an Arri 16SR and it came with a Tobin Milliframe Controller Model TMC. Does anyone know where I can find a manual for this online?? I really don't know much about it. Is it just used to sync the shutter speed for shooting tv screens and shooting HMI lights? Does anyone have any experience...

So, I just found out there is a park in Utah named after Kodachrome film. I'm going to be there tomorrow and will be taking several rolls of Kodachrome 64 with me. Should be pretty exciting. Wish I had brought my Super 8mm camera as well.

Can you give me the information on the person that is repairing it and installing the AV plugs. I have one of these cameras put it doesn't work. Would be nice to get it fixed and mess around.

Does anyone know of any stores that still have 35mm Kodachrome in stock. I am about to leave on a road trip this weekend and wanted to get more Kodachrome to take with me. I tried calling Dwayne's Photo and they said they no longer had any.

I just shot 2 rolls of 16mm film in my bolex EBM, and I think I might have forgotten to push the presure plate back into place after loading the film. Will this make my footage completely useless or just slightly out of foucs??? Has anyone done this before??
