Such a shame, because the quality of the still films is (or was as of 2005) excellent.

Like the elusive North Korean film, this one may remain out of reach...

It looks like Tasma in Russia offer three black and white 16mm movie film stocks, in lengths as short as 30m (100ft).

no.w.here lab will process black and white negative and transfer to Mini DV very cheaply. They also do prints, but annoyingly no black and white reversal.

PS- I'm UK based so EU only guarantees it doesn't get x-rayed!

To have your film back within a few days of sending is nothing short of astonishing for those of us in the UK who were used to waiting three weeks for Kodachrome 40 or at least two weeks sending Ektachrome to a lab abroad ...

Over the years I've accumulated quite a few ebay duds - you know the type - you bid 99p on the offchance that an untested camera might work and be a bargain - it arrives - it doesn't work - can't complain.

That's interesting! I take it Wittner perforate their stocks themselves, so would the polyester base cause any problems for them if a trial batch was to be ordered? I would love to be able to shoot fresh, genuine Agfa film in Super 8 again!

Presumably cut down to Super 8 wouldn't be possible, but 16mm and Standard 8 surely would?

Have just found a supplier of Standard 8 neg Fuji Vivid 160T, but can't find any videos of this film in this format.

Does anyone know where I can see some footage? I am considering using this if I can find a filter!

Slightly OT, what's the current status of Fomapan in Standard 8? I recall reading somewhere that it would be returning in 2012, but Silverprint in London still don't have it.

Also, is the 500T neg that the Widescreen Centre used to stock still available anywhere in Standard 8? Edit: By that I mean ...

The Widescreen Centre used to stock 500T in Standard 8 and used to process it. Just don't know where. Am tempted by some more neg stock I've been offered, just need to know where to get it done reasonably priced. Anyone?
