The thing is, they are VERY knowledgeable when it comes to the projection technology part of Super8. The No.1 projector among the S8 film collectors is the GS1200...

I have to say, I like EMJ. A lot. He did things few of us has until recently. Like having the guts to open up the 4008 and checking it out by yourself... A then giving it a paintjob!!? haha! I love this guy! He did the same thing with the 7008. Even posted pictures of the process on his earthid site...

Why is it so hard to shoot anamorphic ? Well, in the context of super8 there are very few cameras with exchangable lenses so anamorphic primes are sort of out of the question... and even if you had an anamorphic prime and a beaulieu, or leicina, it would probably not work anyway because of a number ...

Snapped them with my cellphone... :oops: Personally, I think this is amazing. Cellphones shoot better pictures every day. These are far better than the Sony Mavica we bought about 5 years ago.
