A new brand lamp for the Elmo gs1200 Xenon by a new company!
Dear friends, I’m very proud to announce new xenon lamps for the GS1200 are now available thanks to a new Company. I spent so much money and time to achieve this result, but now this brand new product is definitely ready. IMG_1245b.jpg IMG_1256b.jpg Since SQ started to produce new clones, I b...

Re: Cinevia "out of the tunnel": the selling service is working
So now all of a sudden the cartridge is of no importance and That is all a bit unlikely. Not "sudden"... In an italian forum we talk about these problems. One year ago an italian guy (nickname: dotting) wrote about the horizontal movement of the -Velvia super8 cartridges. At first I didn'...

Re: Cinevia "out of the tunnel": the selling service is working
The GK film cartridge is not "THE" problem. I had two of these new cartridges and I shot them with my Leicina special. I didn't note differences with the kodak cartridges. The main problem with the Velvia is the cutter and perforation quality. I love Wittner (really: a big, professional, a...

Cinevia "out of the tunnel": the selling service is working
After some years of waiting I think we may say the Cinevia is among us! In march I received a first test cartridge: I shot it and the result was very good. So some days ago I tried to buy my first stock of cinevia. I went to the site and I bought 15 cartridges; after 8 days the postman made a ring t...

Re: soon: Ektachrome 100 D by Kodak from Kodak in Super-8
The last batch of 64T is a lot of better then the earlier.
When it arrived in the super8 family I hated it, but now to loose the ekta64T is a sad news...
I hope Kodak will give us two reversible emulsions, but they don't have in stock a slower film then 100ASA now...

Re: Canon DS8 exposure problem. Help!
Thanks a lot for your answers. The Leicina hasn't a mirrored shutter (that's is inside the Beaulieu). So I think I may use the Leicina special like "touchstone". This morning I ran other tests. I simulated some shots with the Leicina and the Canon DS8 #1 for the same objects in the same ti...

Canon DS8 exposure problem. Help!
I have two Canon double super8. 36 hours since now I'll leave and I have to choose that one i'll brig with me. This is the problem: this morning, by a simple test, I noticed the exposure of these cameras is different. About two stops!!!! One of that doesn't work well. The only working item I have he...

Re: I saw some scenes shot by the Astia 100F single 8 and...
Yes, the length is a problem, but I was talking about to have the Astia in super8 cartridges. I shoot my film by a Leicina special, I love this camera and I want to keep shooting by it. That's my ranking 1) Velvia 50D (shot at 40asa). No grain, great contrast, WONDERFUL sharpness. Simply the best. 2...

I saw some scenes shot by the Astia 100F single 8 and...it's wonderful!!! Really much better than the (good also) Ekta 100D! Colors : like the 64T (I hate this with with a lot of grain and without sharpness, but the colors are very good). Sharpness : better than the 100D, just a little little bit le...
