Before to "discover" the hammn filmcutter I used the bolex splicer for the whole operation. By the Hammn cutter the edges of the film coincide perfectly. So the splicing is invisible. look the Hamman... http://www.hammann-filmtechnik.de/html/praxis.html http://www.hammann-filmtechnik.de/ht...

The best combo is Hamman film cutter and bolex splicer to stick and press the film. By this way the editing is totally invisible.

I think we have to start a petition to Kodak to have officially the 100d in 50' super8 cartridges.
By this way, the price will be cheaper than the Wittner stock (or Spectra)

Right, but few words in press character are tolerated here, expecially if the thread is interested for the super8 community...
"BRAND NEW" and "ITALY" aren't an whole title...
Anyway I'll use press characters no more in the future

I shot some cartridges of 64T, 100D and Velvia 50D. The first time you see on you screen the Velvia, it appears great. The second time yo began to think the colors are "electronic" (=false). I think the real winner of the match is the 100D! If you project your film, the grain of this film ...

Dear Pedro, I'm happy that my suggest was right!!! For me this an important news, because three of my friends and I worked with Fotocinema to start this service! ... and you have to see the result for the 100D processed by Fotocinema. I saw it, and the film is like a 16mm!!! Wonderful! Here the pric...

There appears to be more detail in a well composed and exposed shot on K40 compared with the same shot on 64T or even 100D. So, Angus do you think the K40 is better than the 100D? I'm not sure this is right. I saw really sharp scenes from my E100D, not less than the K40. Don't forget the K40 went i...

I din't see only the footage I shot. I'm member of the Beaulieu Film club and I was at the meeting of June in Warendorf. So I saw the 64T processed by andec and super8 lab too. Our films are processed by Fotocinema, a professional laboratory for 35mm. The 64T isn't a reliable emulsion, and not for t...
