You only lose a couple of frames (10-15 ive heard), when you take the cartridge in the middle of the roll. In other words its not that horrible of a loss.

Thank you all for your help, but it seems as though I wont find any film... You see my camera takes 8mm wide film, not the 16mm wide that goes through the camera twice, hence the name double 8. Acording to wikipedia, this format is called straight 8 invented by Bell & howell in 1935.

Just wanted to recommend this wonderful site with historical photographs taken in the US (theyre in high resolution).

I've been checking it out for months, and you'll be doing so as well (from now on)

Work will teach a child more about him/herself than sitting in a classroom ever will. This is proven. By whom may I ask? so you actually learned something about yourself in school? my friends who started working instead of going to high school already owned homes and had families at 20, which is so...

I still do not like the new versions of the original Star Wars films...but oddly Lucas reckons that there's no films from which to make a remastered DVD of the original versions...so he's just a liar. It was shot in the late 70s correct? Well I saw this interview with scorsese about a Taxi Driver s...
