I understand that the latitude of 200t is better, but I have yet to see examples of 200t and k40 side by side.

k40 makes sense. This film proves that k40 is a superior s8 film stock. Plus I can't get over how well s8 can look for a cheesy zombie flick.

I Am Josh Polonski's Brother, Super 8 Feature

Has anyone had the chance to see this super 8 feature? Is it worth buying? Is there an online trailer? Maybe someone can post some stills that are beter than the tiny ones available on the film's website.

814xls, macro setting

Hi, I have an 814xls and I've yet to use the macro setting. I notice that it is a button on the lens. What I don't notice is how it exactly works. Do you hold the button down, press it once? How is thi function used on this particular camera?

Kinoflex Super 8 - Any good??

Hi, I work for the academy of art university in San Francisco Ca and I work in the film equipment issue room. Our facility has 68 kinoflex super 8s and I keep wondering if this is a decent camera. I know I could just simply try one out, but I don't want to waste film on a possible $HI+ camera. Any b...

There is a trick I learned to get around this very anoying issue. If you razorblade the two areas that you want to disolve together and then pearate them on different video tracks, and then you add a cross disolve onto the beginings of each and then place the two tracks backtogether - VIOLA! It's ea...
