Kodachrome Dentist

Hell YEAH!! today was an awsome day of shooting. A local dentist was interested in someone filming a patient (my brother) getting a filling. Little did he know that I was going to use a super 8 camera (Canon 814xls) with k40 film (2 rolls) I got some very nice close ups of metal tools going into my ...

Hi, is the Kodak Movie Deck 425 a super 8 projector?????

I'm about to drive 20 miles to buy it for 20 dollars. I'm in desperate need of a new projector and I don't have much cash.

if I were anyone trying to spend as little money as possible on a very nice recording system I would buy one of the new high-md minidisc recorders. The two high price models on sonystyle can record in uncompressed linear pcm wav format. That mode of recording can go for 1 hour and 34 minutes on one ...

Hazmat Ghost by Ethan Tabor

Hi, I've recently become skeptical of a suposed Super 8 short that was played that the San Francisco Academy of Art College Epedemic Film Festival. The film is also posted on studentfilms.com under hazmat ghost by author Ethan Tabor. The quality of the B&W footage resembles 16mm, yet the film wa...

Very quirky, neat footage...just swell. I remember your posting of the 16mm B&H footage. I was actually the one person who began that forum topic on cinematography.com I think. I own the B&H 240ee and I've shot only one roll of footage with it (k40). The footage came out great, yet I still h...

Thank you all for your help. Simply an amazing response. I decided to mark the cart and run it through a different camera (a kinoflex) . Strangley enough quite a bit of footage had not been exposed. I ran the kinoflex at 32 fps for about 20 seconds until the "exposed" actually showed up. I...

The red light came on when the footage counter reached the end mark and the camera's motor sounded different. I took out the film as soon as I saw the light...maybe there is a small amount not exposed yet..?

814xls problem!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi, I recently just shot a roll of tri-x in my canon 814xls and I have no idea if the film advanced. The footage counter worked exactly as it was suposed to but when I took the film out I didn't see the little "exposed" that is suposed to appear when the film is done. I know that I can mar...

I know that, but what I was trying to get at is color. I've heard that depending how deep you go under water, certain colors start to disapear.
