Re: Noticing a trend within a trend

With the huge trend towards DV and now HDV, I have noticed hidden in plain sight inside articles which should cause budding film makers to ponder at least. I read that in the latest gathering of Sundance film festival, there were almost 3000 feature films submitted. Of these a paltry amount , say 3...

while i think the sr1 is a better camera it's bulkier and harder to operate. especially hand held. the aatons are really great in that respect. how about an eclair acl if you need to own a camera? it's pretty much in the same league but ultra cheap if you're willing to risk it breaking down any sec...

Re: UK developing for negative super-8 7218?

Sorry if it seems like Im just using this forum as an encyclopedia/talking shop to bounce off my ideas - but now I really need help. I have just shot 3 rolls of 7218 (500T) and realise I don't have the time to send it to Andec for processing, before the footage is needed for a tv pitch. Can anyone ...

I don’t shoot film or video in a traditional way I like to wake up.. roll out of bed…take a shower…grab my DVX100A and start shooting…This is how I operate my business… The stuff I shoot is very spontaneous…Renting won’t work for me because I never know wh...

Hello Nigel
I gotta say that the LTR-54/ XTR packages are a little over my budget.
Can you tell me what are the typical problems with the LTR7?
Are the problems associated with the LTR7 related to the age of the camera or the original design?
thanks :)

I would love to get that lens but it's not wide enough and it probably cost to much for me now...I paid 29.00 dollars for my Eumig 65 XL.
