Pedro, nice to see you again on the forum.
Your information is very useful. I'm making some E64T tests these days, because any person in this forum has a totally different opinion about it...

I will see...

Love it, avr!

100D is looking like the finest stock for all reversal shooters...
Nice contrast, not-too-punchy colors and a very appealing quality.

Gracias!

I personally prefer HD-DVD: Less expensive and same quality.

Blu-Ray looks like a Sony hyped product...

Nigel is right. When I'm buying food at the supermarket I want the other people to buy the same products as me. But they don't!!! Why are they so stupid if my taste is superior??
I want to kill them all...

Or shooting with a 2X anamorphic lens, retaining all of the entire frame.

Anyway, the short looks gorgeous and has the feeling of a more budgeted movie. I'm downloading the new version now, so I'm not going to write about the editing as I intended. Let's watch the new cut...

Jukka, excellent work!!

Wow! Resolution is excellent... Compression artifacts and RGB noise is present but they show an excellent sharpness.

Well said, Angus: 200T is a gorgeous stock. The best thing that happened to Super-8 in many years...

My vote goes for 50D and 200T in negative, and 100D in reversal. A near perfect Super-8 world.

with DV you have to copy the tape (requiring 2 DV decks) to replace the sound track.
Or simply re-capture the footage with your computer, change the sound and send it back to the DV deck (or camera). Just one deck and much more easy than re-recording super-8... but less funny, of course

They could have set up striping operations in China or somewhere else that doesn't care even a little bit about miniscule amounts of solvent getting into their already incredibly polluted environment.
Ehem...

I can fix the stability issues with the pressure plate, so it's not a problem at all. The trouble comes with the auto exposure reading, that doesn't work too well.

So... if there's no any place that can repair it, I will buy another one. That's life...

Thanks for the responses!
