Thanks for those clips! I really love travelogues...
This is one that I shot during a trip to the UK in 2004:

It was physically edited, and the sound added with the help of Pedro's sync device: http://www.super8sync.com
Hope you like it!

I would love to shoot regular-8, but it's impossible to do any kind of sync sound with it. I use to crystal-sync my Super-8 projector for mixing the sound on the computer and transfer back to the magnetic stripe on film. I don't know any regular8 model that can do this... Motor of the Workprinter Jr.
Hi!
What kind of motor uses the old Workprinter Jr.?
I'm going to fix it, and I would like to have some of them in stock for the eventual trouble...
Thanks in advance!

I use a Panasonic AE-900, combined with an up-scaler DVD player, and the result is breathtaking on a 3 meter screen... Great colors, no screen-door effect and a very film-like quality. Obviously, it depends on the transfer and encoding of the movies too. Some DVD's are pure garbage and others look l...

18 fps always has a particular motion when telecined. Period. If you're not looking for this effect, shoot 24 fps. Hell! You're shooting a movie with actual film, actors, crew,... do it professionally. It's not affordable to shoot 18fps because you are loosing much more things than the money you've ...

I agree with your 3 points, but I think that showing stills from the same scene shot with same camera, different stocks and same telecine, makes for an interesting comparison. You can see how the image appears on each stock in equal conditions. Of course, the best way to ensure you like any stock is...
