Re: Any tutorial on how to capture color negative with RetroScan-HD Universal?
I'm using 2K camera and Ultralite source. If moviestuff can do a tutorial, it would be nice, even if it's just a pdf. I'll try out DaVinci Resolve, I have a GTX 1080.

Re: Customer review: Universal 2K
Can MovieStuff, Tscan and Flash of Insight post a video comparing the two cameras and light source?
BTW I capture 8mm at 720p because I don't see an increase in quality capturing at 1080p and it'll only increase file size.

Re: Customer review: Universal 2K
For 8mm and 16mm films, is the 2K upgrade really worth it? They are kinna low quality films. 2K is more for 35mm films. Any video showing the vast improvements over the old camera?

Re: Bell & Howell Audio Cable Format- Smaller than 1/4"?
It's a 3/16" phone plug. It's discussed in this thread. http://www.8mmforumworldwide.com/viewtopic.php?t=1570 The closest adapter I've found is this. https://heilsound.com/products/ad-1-c-right-angle-316-collins-plug/ I've purchased it but it's not working well. The base is too wide and the jac...

Re: How to get rid of static noise from Sankyo 500?
The static noise has reduced to an acceptable level now. Maybe it was the outlet that I plug into or the capacitors needs to be burned in since it's a new old stock.
