One question: You say about the new UV emitters: "This makes dialing in the sensor levels for clear edge film or film with clear patches (like R8) much easier."
Does this mean that it is possible to find a sensor level that is OK for all types of film ...

Andreas, it would be interesting to hear about your experiences with the Müller HDS scanner.
Is it working well?
Do you perhaps have some scanned film examples to show?

Re: The new Muller HDS scanner, what do you think about that
The German company MWA-Nova have 4 versions of film scanners on their web. You can find them here:
http://www.mwa-nova.com/
But I think they are very expensive, more expensive than the Muller HDS.

I have also downloaded and installed the free DaVinci Reslove Lite from Blackmagicdesign. A lot to learn how to manage this program...
I also noticed that the program occupies the whole screen. The same in my both computers, one with Win7 and the other with Win8.
I haven't got a solution how to ...

Re: New 8mm scanner from Tobin
Clive, when you have the scanner in manual exposure mode, do you then adjust the light from the lamp, or do you adjust the shutter speed (or something else) in the camera?
Another question: will it be possible to use larger reels (240 meter, 800 feet) in some way?

Tobin now has a little more information about the new scanner:

For WorkPrinter XP the MoviesStuff information text is:
