Les, I'm glad you liked it. People should be happy. I'm just one of those people who don't care much for subtle referenses to other styles/genres/directors/whatever. I don't think it adds anything to the act of just experiencing a movie. Referring to other themes on a intellectual and more subconsci...

Les, you're new here. Did you by any chance make this movie. Or do you know the guys who did. Am I stepping on your toes?

Hmm. "kids" ment people who aren't too old(I doubt they are 40), but I was mostly referring to the fact that they aren't professionals. Well, semi-good fighting scenes. Compare it to the hundreds of professional action-fighting-stunt guys we see on tv every day and I'm not too impressed. A...

Hmmm. I would want to see it because it's done on super 8, but that's the only reason. If it was a big hollywood production done on 35mm I wouldn't see it if my life depended on it. Why the hell would I. There's probably been made thousands of movies like this. Don't you ever get tired of it. Sure, ...

....And the meter on my baby works flawlessly. I've got the Sekonic Super Zoom Master L-608 cine, wich cost 6 times what I paid for my K3, and I really don't need it unless I get the Ikonoskop one of these days. My K3 is also one of the old ones that says Krasnogorsk in Russian. I also have the 8mm ...

Mine works just fine. I've had no problems with it exept from threading film in the beginning. I can't figure out how to do it manually. It's just impossible. No scratches or anything though. But I guess it's like everyone says. Some get junk and some get a rock solid work horse. You just have to bu...

The amount of light should be the same either way. If you were to have the exact same framing for the different formats(with a equally light sensitive lens, same apparture, whatever) the exact same amount of light would hit the film. The bigger formats would only have a bigger area to "record&q...

I've sent them some e-mails the last couple of months and they always say that upgrades and stuff will come this fall. So we're not quite there yet. But I check their web site every day to see if they got some new information. Why can't they give us some more, bigger and better pictures of the thing...

Just a thought; Some people who watch your film with sound, might try to commit suicide. I ripped my headphones off and felt like smashing them to bits. I guess an artist would be proud to make such an impact on his audience, but be carefull with this thing.
